Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and fertilising to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery including excavators and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
- Support construction activities by preparing sites, mixing materials, and assisting with the installation of features such as fencing or pathways.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with gardening duties including soil preparation, planting new flora, and maintaining existing landscapes.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times during site operations.
- Support team members with various labouring tasks as required across multiple projects.
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other gardening equipment.
- Strong understanding of horticulture principles and garden care practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques.
