Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and charismatic Sales Assistant to join our team based in Basingstoke's Festival Place Shopping Centre. In this role, you will engage with customers, proactively understand their needs, and deliver an exceptional retail experience.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation, using their initiative to enable them to drive store performance as well as maintain visual standards and manage tasks.
Duties
- Ensure that customer service is not an afterthought but an intrinsic part of the sales process
- Drive and deliver personal sales and KPI targets by cultivating customer relationships
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall performance
- Demonstrate strong time management skills by prioritising tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Take responsibility for visual presentation and cleanliness of the store
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales or customer service role is desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive drive to reach goals
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Details:
- Schedule: 4 days out of 7 (7 day availability is required) with extended hours during peak periods.
- Pay: £13.00 per hour base rate, plus bonus scheme.
