We are currently recruiting for a Rota Coordinator / Business Support Administrator to join our team on a maternity cover contract.
This is a key role within our office and management team, responsible for coordinating care rotas and providing essential business support to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care delivery across our services.
About the Role
You will take the lead in planning and maintaining care rotas to ensure all packages of care are safely staffed and delivered.
Working closely with Team Leaders, Clinical Leads, and the Registered Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day service delivery and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and maintaining staff rotas to meet care needs
- Updating and managing the electronic care system
- Acting as first point of contact for office calls and enquiries
- Handling emails, calls, and administrative communication
- Processing annual leave and managing rota changes
- Managing mileage and office records
- Ordering PPE and office supplies
- Supporting induction and training coordination
- Booking meetings, venues, and staff sessions
- Supporting governance and compliance tasks
- Participating in management meetings and reporting where required
- Supporting on-call arrangements when required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised and able to prioritise workload
- Confident communicating with staff, families, and professionals
- Calm under pressure in a busy environment
- Detail-focused with strong IT and administration skills
- Experienced in care coordination, scheduling, or administration (desirable but not essential)
