Ninth Quarter is a small but growing company based in Greater Manchester, delivering bespoke joinery installation, shopfitting, project management, and maintenance services to luxury retail brands across the UK. The Role
We’re looking for a part-time Office Administrator to support the daily operations of our growing office team, working 0900-1500 Monday-Friday working pattern from our Office Site. Working closely with the project managers and directors, you’ll help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a hands-on, varied role in a friendly, fast-paced environment – ideal for someone organised, efficient, and looking for part-time hours.

Ideally, you’ll have some experience in administration within construction, retail, or logistics, but most importantly, you’ll be a great communicator, a team player, and someone who’s ready to grow with a company on the rise.
Key Responsibilities
- General administrative support across the business.
- Assist administratively planning and coordinating ongoing projects.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, and site teams regarding logistics and scheduling.
- Manage and track purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Maintain internal systems and project files.
- Support with security clearance processes for airport works – including 5-year work history tracking and DBS checks and HR/Training Requirements Support
- Support with the preparation of reports, RAMS, and project documentation.
- Book accommodation, travel, and site access for project teams as needed.
- Answer calls, manage office emails, and ensure general admin tasks are handled efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an admin role (preferably within construction, retail, or similar industry).
- Excellent organisation and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication, both written and verbal.
- Confident and able to us using IT Systems & Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience dealing with security-clearance admin (DBS checks, work history verification, etc.).
- Familiarity/understanding with project coordination or construction-based environments.
