Salisbury Hardware Shop
Require PART TIME RETAIL ASSISTANTS
We’re looking for two enthusiastic, customer-focused team members to join our busy Salisbury hardware store. If you’re friendly, approachable and enjoy helping customers, we’d love to hear from you. Retail or hardware experience would be helpful, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
Ideally you can;
- Deliver excellent customer service, putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.
- Be confident to approach & welcome customers while on the shop floor, and on their journey through the store.
- Carry out replenishment activities, to ensure shelves are full & the stock is available for our customers.
- Dress and correctly merchandise spaces to ensure products are well presented and easy to select.
- Operate the tills efficiently and accurately – handling cash, credit/debit card, and gift card transactions.
- Minimise wastage and loss by following our processes and procedures.
Experience gained with a high volume retailer such as a supermarket or DIY store would be an advantage.
Please note that due to the nature of some of our products that heavy lifting is involved.
This is a PartTime position working 2 days per week, one of which is a Sunday. The hours of work are 8.30am to 5.30pm during the weekdays & Sunday is 10.00am to 4.00pm.
