Powered Generator Engineer -Kent Depot

Due to continuous growth, we are currently looking to recruit a skilled Power Generator Engineer, based in the Kent region.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine service, maintenance and repairs as required to a fleet of generators and Bowsers.
- Fault finding, diagnosis and rectification of machinery and equipment
- Responsible for maintaining all rental equipment including test and inspection and the preparation of equipment for rental purposes.
- Organising the storage of all fleet and equipment to ensure that the workshop areas are well organised and kept tidy.
- Responsible for loading of equipment / liaising with the team to ensure equipment is dispatched by internal or external transport.
· Comply with the company health and safety policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are kept to a high standard.
Requirements for the role:
· Ideally you will have at last 2 years’ experience of Mechanical or electrical engineering.
· A good technical knowledge of Power Generators or Electrical/Mechanical Machinery
- Experience in automatic synchronization via Power Management Systems (PMS) or manual synchronization using synchroscopes.
· Relevant experience or qualifications within the Power Industry
· Be competent in electrical engineering systems.
· Have experience in fault finding / diagnostics.
· Must be able to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure in an ever-changing demanding hire environment.
· Good communication skills and an understanding of the importance of providing excellent customer service.
