Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to bring vibrant, high-quality finishes to residential, commercial, or industrial spaces. This dynamic role involves transforming environments through expert painting techniques and decorative finishes, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating visually stunning spaces that inspire and delight.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to achieve desired effects.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver results that exceed expectations.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following health and safety protocols at all times.
- Manage time effectively to complete projects within designated schedules while maintaining quality standards.
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding progress, materials used, and any adjustments needed during the project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or related fields.
- Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration and client interactions.
- Valid driving license to access various job sites efficiently.
- Knowledge of different painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and decorative finishes.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Good physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, and performing manual tasks over extended periods.
Must be experienced
Must be willing to travel ( within local distances )
Must be registered with CIS
Must be professional
Musty have own tools ( brushes etc )
Must have a valid UK driving license as this role is field based.
Own van is advantageous but not essential
Pay: £14.41-£23.00 per hour
