We are looking for an experienced MIG and TIG Welder to join our welding team. This role involves production welding and fabrication of workshop items, including:
- Welding shop fitting products
- Production welding and jig work (repeatable, accurate builds)
- Perform MIG and TIG welding to required standards
- Carry out production welding on repeat jobs
- Complete jig work with attention to accuracy and consistency
- Fabricate and assemble items such as shelving units, tables and shop fittings
- Follow welding procedures, safety rules and workshop best practice
- Maintain a clean and organised work area and report any issues to the supervisor
THE CANDIDATE:
- Proven experience as a MIG and TIG welder
- Ability to read basic drawings/specs (where applicable)
- Comfortable working in a production environment and completing repeat work to standard
- Strong workmanship and attention to detail
Rate of pay: Negotiable (ROP) depending on experience.
