Children & Young People Residential Childcare Skills Coach

Full-time – Monday to Friday
Salary up to £33,000.00 per annum experience dependent

Providing a varied programme of delivery in line with the required qualification standards and offer an integrated programme of teaching, training, support, mentoring and development of learners. Coach learners within their workplace with the support of their line manager/mentor to ensure the timely achievement of their Apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and adhere to all responsibilities to ensure that the quality requirements of eTraining ’s Quality Assurance Framework, the prime contractor, funding body, OFSTED, DWP Quality Framework, or any other contract stakeholder, are maintained.
- Ensure individual expertise and subject area knowledge is up to date through Continuous Personal Development, including sharing good practice, engaging with training and acquiring/maintaining any individual qualifications required for the role.
- Work flexibly in the field and across offices, as and when directed by the line manager.
- Meeting KPIs set for starts, progression, timely achievement, leavers and customer satisfaction in line with quality, compliance and financial targets.
- Maintain a caseload of learners delivering sector specific programmes including developing Maths, English & ICT skills alongside personal development, behaviours & attitudes.
- Be proficient in the use of electronic portfolio systems to record learner interventions, reviews, upload work and all required off the job training, maintaining learner information, ensuring quality and integrity of data which is accurately recorded and submitted efficiently. to regulatory requirements.

- Qualifications are required for the delivery of L5 qualifications, namely - L5 Ops Dep Manager - L5 Children's Young people & Families Residential - L4 Children's Young people & Families Practitioner - L5 Coaching Professional - L3 Team Leading - L3 Business Admin
- L5 Assessing
Essential Knowledge & Experience
- Experience and knowledge of delivering Apprenticeship Standards
- Experience and knowledge of training and/or assessment delivery
- Occupational experience within the industry – Residential Childcare
- Experienced in the delivery of maths and English
- Experience of teaching within educational establishments Desirable Knowledge & Experience
- Knowledge of government funding streams
- Experience of working/assessing within Health & Social Care environments, such as adult care homes
