Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of outdoor and construction-related tasks, supporting the maintenance and development of landscaping, horticultural, and construction projects. Duties
- Assisting with landscape maintenance, including planting, pruning, and general garden care
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and effectively
- Utilising mechanical knowledge to support maintenance tasks on machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems
- Supporting construction activities, including site preparation and material handling
- Assisting with the installation and upkeep of irrigation systems and horticultural features
- Performing general labour tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and cleaning work areas
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times during operations
- Supporting team members with various tasks related to gardening, landscaping, and construction projects as required
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating machinery such as excavators is a plus
- Practical understanding of construction or gardening environments will be beneficial
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and resilience
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills within the landscape or construction sectors
