Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas, ensuring all dishes meet our standards of excellence. Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes and specifications
- Cook pizzas to perfection using various methods including wood-fired ovens or standard kitchen appliances
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as required
- Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs to management
- Serve customers efficiently, providing excellent customer service when required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role, preferably within a restaurant or pizzeria setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Strong skills in meal preparation and kitchen organisation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Prior experience in serving customers is advantageous but not essential
- A genuine passion for culinary arts and creating delicious pizzas
