Freelance SUP Yoga Instructor
Location: SUP Safari, Sandbanks, Poole Harbour
SUP Safari is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Yoga Instructor to deliver SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboard) Yoga sessions at our Sandbanks location in Poole Harbour.
This is a freelance opportunity ideal for an instructor who enjoys working outdoors, has experience teaching yoga classes, and is comfortable on a paddleboard. We provide the boards, equipment, and venue – you provide the yoga expertise and great customer experience.
About the Role
You'll be leading yoga sessions on the water for a range of participants, helping create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment while adapting classes to suit different abilities.
We're looking for someone who is confident combining yoga instruction with the unique challenges and enjoyment of being on a paddleboard.
This is a part time role and hours and wage will be discussed on interview.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging SUP Yoga sessions for groups of varying abilities.
- Create a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive experience for participants.
- Adapt classes to suit different fitness and experience levels.
- Ensure participants understand basic safety and paddleboard awareness.
- Work alongside the SUP Safari team to provide a professional customer experience.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere throughout sessions.
Requirements
- Experience teaching yoga classes.
- Recognised yoga teaching qualification preferred.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Comfortable and confident on a stand-up paddleboard.
- Friendly, reliable, and professional approach.
- Strong communication and group management skills.
- Ability to work independently on a freelance basis.
