About the team
Our award-winning Counter Fraud team is expanding, and we are looking for ambitious individuals to join one of the UK's leading fraud litigation practices. The team specialises in investigating and defending suspected fraudulent motor claims, delivering excellent results for insurer clients while developing innovative strategies to combat fraud. You'll join a supportive and collaborative environment where knowledge sharing, personal development and wellbeing are highly valued. What you’ll be doing
Manage your own caseload of litigated motor fraud claims using our case management system.
Investigate and defend fraudulent motor accident claims on behalf of insurer clients.
Deliver a professional, efficient and solutions-focused service to clients.
Review evidence and develop effective litigation strategies.
Work independently while collaborating closely with colleagues across the Counter Fraud team.
Ensure matters are progressed proactively and in line with client requirements and service standards.
Conduct advocacy at applications and Case Management Conferences where required .
Support the efficient operation of the wider team and contribute to achieving positive client outcomes.
Build technical knowledge and develop expertise within a specialist area of law.
What do I need?
Law degree, GDL or LPC qualification (desirable).
Previous file handling experience and/or experience within the insurance industry (desirable).
Experience in personal injury litigation, whether as a solicitor, legal executive or claims handler ( advantageous ).
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication and client service skills.
A proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated approach.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to demonstrate initiative and creative thinking.
A committed team player who enjoys collaborating and sharing knowledge.
A genuine desire to learn, develop and progress within a specialist area of litiga tion.
