Buston & Maughan is continuing to grow, and we’re looking for a Gas Engineer to join our experienced and supportive team across the North East.
With an established presence in the social housing sector and a strong pipeline of work, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer who enjoys working independently, takes pride in high standards, and wants to be part of a business that values experience and development.
The role
Working across social housing contracts throughout the North East, you’ll carry out a range of installation work including:
- Gas combi boiler installations
- Full heating system installations
- Delivering safe, compliant work in line with current gas regulations
- Providing excellent service to residents and customers
What we’re looking for
- Fully qualified Gas Engineer
- Cooker and gas fire qualifications essential
- Minimum 3 years’ industry experience
- Strong understanding of current gas regulations
- Confident working independently and managing workload
Desirable
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
- CSCS Card
- Working at Height
- Manual Handling
- Asbestos Awareness
- Previous experience working within social housing environments
- Strong customer service and communication skills
