Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our Parts Distribution Centre. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, goods in / out processes, and team supervision. Your leadership will drive continuous process improvements, optimize logistics workflows, and maintain high standards of safety and accuracy.
The role would be very much hands-on along with improving and implementing process. Responsible for Health and Safety, monitoring and improving productivity, and ensuring high standards are kept throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and motivate production and warehouse employees.
- Plan workloads, staffing and resources in line with customer demand and operational priorities.
- Oversee warehouse activities, including picking, packing, stock replenishment and dispatch.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and address shortages, damaged items or discrepancies promptly.
- Manage rotas, holidays, absence and workforce coverage.
- Ensure Health and Safety policies, safe working practices and company procedures are followed at all times.
- Monitor employee attendance, conduct and performance, addressing concerns fairly and consistently.
About You:
- You must have at least five years of experience in warehousing on a large scale, supply chain logistics, and experience of managing a warehouse.
- have knowledge and experience of process improvements.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Must have experience in space optimisation, warehouse layout, reporting, and business analysis.
- A fair, supportive and consistent approach to people management.
- Warehouse experience relating to packing, stocking and loading, shipping and receiving
Working hours: 42.5 hours a week. 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday plus working every other Saturday 8am-12pm
