Sarah's Coffee Shop is looking for a casual assistant to assist with the day-to-day operations of both our Wherstead Cafe in Ipswich. The ideal candidate is a friendly, reliable, and organised person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a positive impact on the people around them.
Requirements:
- Must be experienced in hospitality and able to work on their own.
- Experience on a barista coffee machine preferred
- Must have experience with till systems.
- Must be comfortable with food preparation of sandwiches, panini's, jacket potato's etc
Job duties include: assisting customers with their orders; taking food orders; preparing food orders; cleaning food preparation areas; operating cash register; serving customers; maintaining orderliness in cafe area; assisting with opening and closing duties; assisting with cleaning cafe area including: mopping, dusting tables, sanitising work surfaces, etc.
Hours are 7.30am to 3pm, 2 to 3 days a week (Mon to Fri) and will definitely include a Friday. There would also be occasional Saturdays and other adhov cover for holidays/sickness.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
