We are seeking passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Managers and Leads to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily nursery operations, lead a team of childcare professionals, and create a nurturing environment where young children can thrive. Your leadership will ensure high-quality care, safety, and developmental support for every child, fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere that encourages curiosity and growth. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced childcare professionals who are eager to make a meaningful impact in early childhood development.
Duties
- Lead and supervise nursery staff to deliver exceptional childcare services aligned with best practices in early childhood education
- Develop and implement daily routines, activities, and educational programs that promote children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns
- Manage administrative tasks including attendance records, incident reports, and compliance documentation
- Provide mentorship and training to staff members to foster professional growth and teamwork
- Oversee the maintenance of nursery facilities to ensure a clean, safe, and stimulating environment
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within a childcare or nursery setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
- Experience working directly with children in early childhood education or childcare roles
- Knowledge of nursery best practices, child development principles, and health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to engage positively with children, parents, and team members
- Valid driving license is preferred for transporting children or managing off-site activities
- Childcare qualifications such as a diploma or certification in early childhood education are highly desirable

Pay: £33,000.00 per year
