Duties
- Monitor residents throughout the night to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or urgent needs that arise during your shift.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as repositioning
- Conduct regular checks of the environment to maintain a safe and clean living space.
- Document all activities, incidents, and observations accurately using IT systems and care records.
- Support residents’ emotional well-being through friendly interaction and reassurance during the night hours.
- Housekeeping tasks including - preparing vegetables for the following day, mopping floors and cleaning areas while residents sleep.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate IT systems for documentation and communication purposes efficiently.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols relevant to night-time caregiving environments.
