We are seeking a Wellbeing Lead to organise and deliver engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for residents within a care home setting. This role focuses on supporting the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of service users through meaningful programmes and events. You will play a key role in creating a positive and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and deliver activities and social events for service users both within and outside the home.
- Develop and display structured activity programmes to encourage participation.
- Liaise with the Manager and care team to ensure activities meet residents’ needs.
- Engage with service users to understand their interests, hobbies, and preferences.
- Tailor activities to support residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.
- Facilitate group and one-to-one activities such as games, crafts, and social sessions.
- Organise appropriate entertainment and external events.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and contribute to care plan updates.
- Support exercise and mobility programmes for residents.
- Build positive relationships with residents, relatives, visitors, and professionals.
- Ensure confidentiality and data protection requirements are upheld.
- Report incidents, complaints, hazards, and changes in residents’ condition appropriately.
- Maintain equipment and report faults or hazards.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Participate in training, meetings, and development programmes.
- Promote a positive image of the home and support marketing activities where required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a supportive team environment.
- Ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations including COSHH and fire safety.
- Uphold the home’s philosophy of care and residents’ rights at all times.

Requirements
- Enhanced DBS (Child and Adult).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Experience working as an Activity Coordinator within the independent sector.
- QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (desirable).
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities.
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements.
- Willingness to undertake mandatory training, including manual handling.
- Ability to follow Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
