This is a varied role in which you will have the opportunity to showcase your amazing customer service skills, liaising with clients, suppliers and third parties. You will play a key role, supporting the team in a range of administration tasks, effectively prioritising your own workload and will have the chance to further develop your administrative and technical skills in a busy office.
Ensuring the smooth running of the office day-to-day, you will be the first point of contact for many customers, via email and telephone as well as face to face, so the ability to build rapport and develop quality commercial relationships is essential. Additionally, you will process files, submit applications, accurately record data, and will ensure all file information is up to date, so you will be accustomed to working effectively while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

The role is office based at 33 Kirkgate, Silsden Silsden, BD20 0AJ.
Purpose of role
The Mortgage Administrator will work closely with the team, complementing and supporting their day to day activities, to help them deliver a five-star service to the company’s valued clients.

Essential duties and responsibilities
Check mortgage packs and documents as provided by clients to ensure full compliance throughout.
Submit mortgage and protection applications online.
Check progress of applied cases, obtaining regular updates and dealing with any lenders requests to ensure the application is progressed to offer as efficiently as possible.
Package documents and forward/upload to the lender.
Keep in contact with lenders and update Advisers on progress of applications.
Liaise with Estate Agents, Valuers, Lenders and Solicitors when required and appropriate.
Send review letters for all cases that are due for review within a specific time period.
Invoicing and managing client fee payments
Ensure that files are fully compliant and meet the standards required
Transfer documents and files to CRM Key system and input new mortgage details on the system.
Check client’s mortgage offers are accurate and match the details contained in the client’s illustration.
Proof-read and check suitability reports as written by colleagues.
General clerical and administration duties as requested.
Any ad-hoc and reasonable task, as requested.
Learn about the end-to-end mortgage broking process, with the possibility of working towards a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP)

Education and experience
Essential
· Minimum Grade C (4) or above achieved in GCSE Maths and English
· Proficiency across the Microsoft suite of products
· Previous experience working within an administrative role
· Experience working within the financial services industry desirable
