We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Café Style Breakfast & Lunch Cook to join our busy team. This role focuses on café-style food, including breakfast service, food preparation, and preparing lunch dishes. You will also support the kitchen team and help maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
This is not a restaurant chef role – we’re looking for someone confident preparing fresh café food in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking café-style breakfasts
- Preparing and serving lunch dishes
- Food preparation and kitchen support
- Following food hygiene and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workspace
- Assisting with stock rotation and basic kitchen organisation
- Supporting the team during busy service periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café or kitchen environment
- Confident preparing breakfast dishes and lunches
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability for day shifts, including weekends
- Positive attitude and strong team ethic
