As a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll become that person.
Milestone Education is looking for caring, resilient, and dedicated individuals to support pupils across specialist SEND schools in Coventry. Working on a 1:1 basis, you'll help children overcome barriers to learning while building the confidence, independence, and life skills they'll carry with them long after they leave the classroom.

What you'll be doing
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support tailored to each pupil's individual needs.
- Encouraging engagement, independence, and confidence throughout the school day.
- Supporting learning, communication, and emotional development.
- Working alongside teachers, therapists, and wider support teams to deliver personalised support.
- Helping create a calm, safe, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
We're looking for someone who...
- Has experience supporting children with SEND or SEMH.
- Builds trust through patience, empathy, and consistency.
- Remains calm, positive, and solution-focused in challenging situations.
- Understands that progress looks different for every child.
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is happy to obtain one.
Experience supporting any of the following is highly valued
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Down Syndrome
- SEMH and Mental Health
- Behavioural Needs
- Physical Disabilities
- Complex Learning or Communication Needs

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
