Overview
We are seeking dedicated Bank Healthcare Staff to provide high-quality care within care homes and senior care settings. This role offers flexible shifts to support our clients' needs, ensuring residents receive compassionate and professional assistance. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and experience in supervising care teams. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate mobility between locations. Staff incentives including vouchers or bonuses will be made available based on performance and time within the company.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring residents’ needs are met with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with daily activities such as mobility, personal hygiene, and medication administration
- Supervise and support junior staff or volunteers, fostering a positive team environment
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and update records as necessary using IT systems
- Support the organisation of activities and social engagement programmes for residents
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care environment
- Drive or accompany residents when required to appointments or outings, subject to a valid driving licence
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or senior care setting is highly desirable
- Supervising or leadership experience in a healthcare environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Proficiency in IT systems used for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Driving experience with a valid licence is preferred but not essential; willingness to travel between locations is necessary for some roles
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
