Duties
- Assist customers in selecting gifts, providing product information, and offering personalized recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with professionalism
- Upsell products by suggesting complementary items and special offers to increase customer satisfaction and store revenue
- Keep the shop organized by restocking shelves, managing inventory levels, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Engage in active communication with customers in multiple languages, including English and Spanish, to serve diverse visitors effectively
- Handle phone inquiries courteously, providing information about store hours, products, or services while practicing excellent phone etiquette
Skills
- Multilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable to connect with a broad customer base
