About the Role
Vienna Community Church UK is seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Engineer to maintain the organization's buildings, systems, and facilities. The successful candidate will help ensure the premises remain safe, functional, and well maintained for staff, visitors, and community activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair building and facility systems.
- Monitor electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Coordinate external contractors when necessary.
- Maintain maintenance schedules and records.
- Respond to urgent facility issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Recommend improvements to facility reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Technical qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
- Previous facilities or maintenance experience.
- Broad knowledge of building systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
