About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Electrician who wants to work on a sub contracting basis exclusively for Zenith ECO Solutions.
Please note: You must hold a valid Solar PV qualification to be considered for this role.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, leads by example, and is confident overseeing day-to-day site activities while remaining hands-on.
You will undertake a wide variety of electrical work, ranging from domestic installations to large-scale renewable energy projects, including:
- Solar PV systems
- Battery storage systems
- EV charging installations
- Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and fault finding.
- Complete all relevant certification and compliance documentation.
- Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in line with current regulations.
- Oversee and support daily site activities.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, health and safety, and customer service.
- Work independently while managing workloads efficiently.
- Support the business in maintaining and developing Qualifying Supervisor (QS) responsibilities.
- Assist with the installation of renewable energy technologies, including Solar PV, battery storage systems, EV chargers, and Air Source Heat Pumps.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent)
- Valid Solar PV qualification
- Strong understanding of EICR requirements and compliance
- Excellent fault-finding and testing skills
- Experience working with renewable energy technologies and energy-efficient systems
- Full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points
