Salary Scale 5 - PO2: £30,165 - £49,061 per annum
Full Time (37 hours per week) and Fixed Term until 31st August 2027
Join our team at Bridgend College in this deeply rewarding, hands-on role helping young people change their lives. You will be delivering on Project SEARCH, a supported employment initiative designed to help young people with learning difficulties and disabilities secure meaningful, full-time jobs. Instead of being based in a traditional classroom, you will work inside a local employer's premises, teaching vital workplace skills and providing the day-to-day coaching interns need to confidently step straight into employment.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others succeed, with proven experience of supporting learning in a workplace setting and working with young people with additional learning needs (ALN). Holding a relevant qualification in ALN/SEN is important for this role (or be willing to work towards one), along with either possessing or be willing to work towards a PGCE and Assessor Awards. You will need to be great at building relationships, as a big part of your week will involve keeping in touch with learners and their business mentors together with their families, successfully overseeing the partnership with the host employers.
Interview date: 3 August 2026
