Duties
- Deliver comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer medication accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Assist with meal preparation to ensure nutritious and balanced diets are maintained
- Support clients with assisted living tasks, including light housekeeping and errands such as shopping or driving to appointments
- Manage behavior and provide emotional support for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive challenges
- Respond promptly to emergencies by applying first aid skills and following health and safety procedures
- Document care activities thoroughly and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living, home care, or nursing home environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, hospice care, and senior care best practices
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to patient well-being
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting clients with mobility or transfers
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for transportation duties
- Certifications in first aid and medication administration are preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
