Overview
We are seeking a talented and professional Lash Technician to join our dynamic beauty team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for enhancing clients' natural beauty through expert eyelash extension application and other specialised beauty services. The Lash Technician will be responsible for providing personalised treatments, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and contributing to the overall success of our salon. Previous experience in management, social media management, or customer service is advantageous, as is familiarity with makeup application, deep tissue massage, and upselling techniques.
Responsibilities
- Applying eyelash extensions with precision and care to achieve customised looks for clients
- Providing additional beauty treatments such as makeup application and deep tissue massage as required
- Delivering excellent guest services by understanding client needs and offering tailored advice
- Managing front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client check-in, and payment processing
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Managing social media accounts to promote services, special offers, and client engagement
- Upselling additional treatments and products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Assisting with management tasks such as staff scheduling or inventory control when needed
- Building strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and positive reviews
Qualifications
- Proven experience in eyelash extensions application; certification preferred but not essential if demonstrating proficiency
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of makeup application, hospitality standards, and guest services is desirable
- Experience in social media management and upselling techniques is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of service delivery
- Management experience or background in barbering or related beauty treatments is a plus
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
