Continued growth and a genuine commitment to delivering a high level of customer service means we have an exciting opportunity for a storeman/workshop assistant to join our team.
Job Description
- Check delivery of goods against delivery note, label and place in correct location.
- Carry out random stock checks on individual items as well as assisting with major stock checks.
- Prepare stock from cutting lists for forthcoming jobs
- Order materials from various suppliers
- Ensure that the workshop and yard is kept clean and tidy and complies with health and safety legislation.
- Assist unloading heavy goods
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Flexible with ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Basic computer skills
- Full driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience in working in a stores/workshop environment
- Knowledge of stock control
- Knowledge of basic health and safety
- Trade counter experience

Hours
- Monday – Thurs 6.45am – 3.15pm
- Friday 6.45am – 2.15pm
Salary: £31,000 - £33,000
