Friendly village pub in Wardhedges, Flitton, looking for an experienced lunchtime cook for weekday daytime shifts with a small, relaxed kitchen team.
The Jolly Coopers is a welcoming village pub serving traditional pub favourites. We are looking for a reliable and experienced cook who can confidently run a lunchtime service independently.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking classic pub food and prefers consistent daytime hours.

Part-time | Permanent
Pay £12 – £15 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours
Monday – Friday: 11:00am – 3:00pm
Monday and Tuesday evenings: 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Holiday and occasional weekend cover required
Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking traditional pub meals
- Managing lunchtime service
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
- Basic prep and stock organisation
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or cook experience
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable and organised
- Passion for freshly cooked pub food
