Panel Beater
Location: Livingston, West Lothian
Shift: Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:30 (working hours can be discussed at interview)
Salary: £41,230 per annum
Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting for experienced Panel Beaters to join a busy automotive bodyshop in Livingston. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a Temp to Perm position within a modern workshop, repairing a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards.
We are looking for skilled and motivated individuals with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs.
The Role:
As a Panel Beater, your responsibilities will include:
- Realigning damaged vehicle panels.
- Stripping and refitting vehicle components.
- Repairing and replacing damaged body panels.
- Fitting new panels to manufacturer standards.
- Applying filler and carrying out panel repairs to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Completing repairs on a range of passenger and commercial vehicles.
- Ensuring all repairs are completed to company and manufacturer standards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Working efficiently to achieve productivity and quality targets.
The Person:
- Previous experience working as a Panel Beater within an automotive bodyshop is essential.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern vehicle repair methods.
- Ability to demonstrate experience across all aspects of panel repair and replacement.
- Own hand tools, including hammers and blocks, are preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
