Cabinlocator Ltd is looking for the support of a multi-skilled Operative to join our Refurbishment Centre in Pocklington.
This role involves supporting the refurb, repair, build and fit-out of portable cabins and modular buildings, helping to return each unit to a "good as new" standard. Working as part of a small team, you will support a range of tasks across different stages of the refurbishment process.
Duties may include:
- Refurbishing, repairing and fitting out portable cabins and modular buildings
- Using hand tools and compressed air tools, erecting and repairing frames and fitting insulation and wall sheets
- Hanging doors, fitting windows, building partitions, plasterboarding, fitting skirting, and replacing flooring, wall panels and ceiling panels
- Carrying out general maintenance, prepping surfaces for finishing and maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work area
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in joinery, fitting out, refurbishment, maintenance or similar practical work
- A semi-skilled or multi-skilled background, with basic plumbing knowledge being an advantage
- Good attention to detail, a reliable and punctual approach, and the ability to work well within a small team
- The ability to commute to Pocklington Industrial Estate
