About Ethica Diamonds
We're an independent, Cornwall-based jewellery company specialising in ethical, lab-grown diamonds.
For more than 15 years, we have helped customers find and create jewellery that feels personal to them, while offering a more responsible alternative to traditional diamond jewellery.
We are a close-knit and creative team with ambitious plans for the brand. We are now looking for someone who can help us share our story, showcase our jewellery and build genuine connections with our growing online community.
Overview
Are you full of creative ideas, confident writing engaging copy, and always keeping an eye on what is happening across social media?
We are looking for a proactive and creative Social Media & Content Executive to join the Ethica Diamonds team. You will help shape how our brand appears online, creating engaging content that brings our jewellery and values to life.
From planning campaigns and filming short-form videos to writing blogs and responding to our community, this is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys both the creative and strategic sides of social media.
You will have plenty of opportunity to bring your own ideas to the role, experiment with new formats and help us grow our presence across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging social media content that supports our wider brand and business goals.
- Create, edit and schedule content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Produce a varied mix of content, including short-form videos, photography, graphics, written posts, blogs and behind-the-scenes features.
- Film and photograph jewellery, customers, team members and activity within our Nansledan store.
- Write clear, engaging blogs that reflect the Ethica Diamonds tone of voice.
- Manage the day-to-day social media calendar and ensure content is published consistently.
- Monitor comments, messages and customer interactions, responding in a helpful and friendly manner.
- Work with the wider team to promote new products, bespoke designs, customer stories, events and seasonal campaigns.
- Help identify opportunities to work with relevant creators, influencers, local businesses and community partners.
- Track content performance and use the results to improve future campaigns.
- Keep up with emerging social media trends, platform updates and content formats.
- Bring fresh ideas to team discussions and confidently suggest new ways to grow the brand.
Requirements
- Experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing.
- Examples of social media content or ideas you have created.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to adapt your writing for different platforms.
- Confidence creating video and photography content for social media.
- Experience editing short-form video using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva or similar software.
- A good understanding of platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
- An understanding of what makes social content engaging, relevant and shareable.
- The ability to manage several projects and deadlines without losing attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in social media, digital content and changing online trends.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a close-knit team.
More than anything, we are interested in finding someone with strong creative instincts, a willingness to learn and the enthusiasm to get involved.
Why Join Ethica Diamonds?
This is an opportunity to make a real impact within a growing independent business. You will not simply be following a fixed content plan, you will be encouraged to contribute ideas, try new approaches and help shape the future direction of the Ethica Diamonds brand.
If you are creative, organised and excited by the idea of producing content for a distinctive jewellery brand, we would love to hear from you.
