Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrator to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage financial records, support administrative functions, and contribute to the smooth operation of our organisation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and comfortable working with SAGE accounting & payroll software platforms to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records using SAGE accounting software
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions promptly and accurately
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports for management review
- Support administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and correspondence management
- Be competent using Sage payroll and processing employee expense reimbursements
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations
- Collaborate with team members to improve administrative workflows and reporting processes
Experience
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar administrative role within an organisation
- Proficiency in SAGE accounting software is essential
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reconciliation
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in SAGE payroll software is essential
- Prior experience supporting administrative functions in a professional setting is essential
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
