Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our growth initiatives and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a proven track record in B2B sales, and expertise in leveraging our existing customer base for customer relationship management. The BDM will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, new to range, nurturing client relationships.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to increase market share and revenue.
- Identify and pursue new B2B sales opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events.
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, prospects, and client interactions.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed targets through coaching and performance management.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align business objectives.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives for senior management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience within the automotive aftermarket industry.
- Successful roles within a sales environment, preferably with B2B expertise.
- Strong knowledge of industry platforms.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing teams towards achieving targets.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop strategic plans whilst maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £28,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
