Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, be well-organised, and have a positive attitude. Previous bar experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Must be honest, reliable and able to work weekends.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance licensing regulations
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently, including responsible alcohol service
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, safety, is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy hours
- Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to local licensing laws
