Here at Visiting Angels, we talk to angels every day. They have earned their wings in a variety of ways. You can too. It’s a satisfying job and provides a great deal of flexibility. You can work up to 40 hours a week and you can stipulate when you are, and are not, available.
We offer visits of a minimum of one hour, planned travel time, so you are not rushing between clients, industry-leading pay rates, comprehensive and refresher training, a clear pathway to progress your career, and a 5% increase every year if you continue with us. In addition, we will make sure that you are trained to deliver any care needed and will introduce you to any new client ahead of time.
- Rates start at £14.50 per hour for training
- Training and refresher courses are paid for
- DBS check is paid by Visiting Angels
- You will receive a regular contract (so no zero contracts) at the end of
your probationary period. If you want to.
- Travel time and mileage are paid
- In addition to the usual holidays, you will have your birthday off
- We have several get-togethers during the year, some of them for the entire family

You will need to have a pleasant attitude, like working with older people (including some of the angels!), live in the UK with the right to work in the UK and access to a car.
You must ALREADY live in of the postcodes TN1 to TN20. We do not consider anybody outside of the aera. Companionship is a big thing with us and our clients really value our carers being local and being entrenched in the community.
All our clients are private, we do not take on clients from the local authority.
