Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tractor Operator with Class one to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating tractors and other machinery to perform various tasks related to landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and agricultural operations. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in outdoor environments.
MUST HOLD TRACTOR TICKET WITH CLASS ONE it's a must
Duties
- Operate tractors for various tasks including digging, building, and irrigation.
- Perform landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, trimming, and planting.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain equipment by conducting regular inspections and performing minor repairs.
- Assist in groundskeeping activities to ensure a clean and well-maintained environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to landscaping and maintenance tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.
- Experience in groundskeeping and landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to irrigate, build, dig, and maintain gardens effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
