Job Description
Are you an experienced and motivated Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Technician looking for your next opportunity? Join Springbridge Direct Ltd, where your skills will play a vital role in keeping our fleet running smoothly and efficiently.
As an HGV Technician, you’ll be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of our fleet of heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and company machinery. This is a hands-on role that offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment. From preparing vehicles for MOT to attending breakdowns, you’ll be an essential part of our team ensuring the safety and reliability of our operations.

Responsibilities:
- Perform periodic inspections of the HGV and trailer fleet.
- Prepare vehicles and trailers for MOT tests.
- Conduct repairs on damaged or broken-down vehicles.
- Carry out regular servicing and maintenance of the fleet.
- Repair and maintain plant and machinery when time permits.
- Attend vehicle breakdowns using the company van.
Requirements:
- Proof of right to work in the UK (e.g., Passport).
- Valid HGV Technician Qualification.
- Valid driving license for operating a van.
- P45 from previous employer (if applicable).
Work Hours:
- Standard: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch break).
- Overtime: Available by mutual agreement, paid at 1.5x the normal rate after 48 hours of work or granted as time off in lieu.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary negotiable depending on experience.
