Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Payroll Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments, and maintaining employee records. Duties
- Process payroll using practice software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage data entry related to employee hours, deductions, benefits, and other payroll information.
- Maintain and update employee records in practice software.
- Reconcile payroll data and generate reports for management review.
- Assist with year-end reporting, tax filings, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate clients to ensure correct employee classifications, benefit deductions, and other payroll-related matters.
- Analyse payroll data to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly.
- Support bookkeeping & accounting teams by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Support the smooth running of the practice.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role within human resources or finance departments.
- Proficiency in payroll software is essential.
- Experience with accounting software including Xero is highly desirable.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy of payroll information.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Familiarity with human resources practices, employment law, and compliance regulations is advantageous.
