We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager or strong Deputy Manager ready to step up to lead a new 3-bed EBD residential children’s home.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the service from pre-registration through Ofsted registration and opening, followed by the day-to-day management of the home.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in residential children’s homes.
- Current/previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
- Experience with EBD and complex needs.
- Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification or willingness to complete.
- Strong safeguarding, leadership and staff management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the home through Ofsted registration.
- Recruit and develop a high-quality staff team.
- Manage safeguarding, compliance, referrals and admissions.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the home.
- Maintain strong relationships with social workers and local authorities.
- Work towards achieving and maintaining a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.

Pay: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
