We're looking for a motivated and reliable Installer's Assistant to join our team, working alongside our HETAS-registered installer to help install wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves, fireplaces, liners and chimney systems.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn a skilled trade from an experienced professional, making it an ideal role for a school or college leaver looking to build a long-term career.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the installation of stoves, fireplaces and flue systems.
- Helping to line chimneys and prepare installation sites.
- Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Supporting the lead installer on a variety of domestic installations.
What we're looking for:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good practical skills and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to carry out manual work, including heavy lifting.
- Comfortable working at height.
- Punctual, reliable and able to work well as part of a team.
