The Old Cock Inn is a delightful pub & restaurant in the heart of Harpenden, offering guests the added benefit of six boutique bedrooms. We have a stylish and cosy restaurant, a relaxed and informal bar area with a roaring log fire for the colder months, and our lovely terrace garden at the back. We’re what you might call a ‘proper pub’ serving a selection of real ales and craft beers, alongside an extensive wine, gin and spirit list.
We’re currently looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a housekeeper and cleaner at our pub, restaurant, and hotel. This is a key role in ensuring our rooms, public areas, and facilities are kept spotless, welcoming, and up to the high standards our guests expect. Physical stamina: Able to carry out manual tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, lifting linen bags, and making beds.

Teamwork: Work well with other staff members, including front of house and kitchen teams, to ensure smooth operations.
