We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy, presentable, and safe for occupants. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Clean and sanitise surfaces, fixtures, and fittings to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow health and safety guidelines while using cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as necessary.
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and clients.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is an advantage.
