HOURS :
MONDAY 8AM -12PM
TUES -THURS 10AM - 4PM
FRI 2PM- 6PM

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood curriculum standards.
- Supervise and support children during play, mealtimes, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
- Manage daily routines within the nursery setting, including organising activities and maintaining a structured environment.
- Monitor individual progress of children, documenting developmental milestones and communicating updates to parents or guardians.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and best practice procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent recognised certification.
- Ability to work effectively within a team while also demonstrating initiative independently.
- A caring attitude with genuine enthusiasm for supporting young children's growth and development.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing routines and organisational needs. This role is ideal for individuals committed to making a positive impact on children's lives through quality education and care in a supportive environment.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
