Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our ever growing team, full re roofs, lead work and plastics.
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and secure roofing components.
- Conduct repairs on damaged roofs by replacing shingles, fixing leaks, or replacing worn-out materials.
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely to ensure efficient workflow.
- Fabricate custom roofing components through cutting, shaping, and welding as needed for specialized applications.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate tasks involving carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or other trades integral to roofing projects.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to roofing systems.
- Experience with welding techniques for fabricating or repairing metal roofing components.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, pry bars, and measuring devices.
- Knowledge of construction processes including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and general building practices.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently in a construction environment.
- Strong understanding of roofing materials, installation methods, and safety protocols.
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for large-scale roofing projects.
