Summary
We are seeking a Drainage Groundworker or Labourer to join our team in the GB area. This role is vital in supporting our mission to deliver effective drainage solutions while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist with excavation and groundwork tasks using hand tools and power tools
- Operate machinery such as excavators under supervision
- Support drainage installation and repair projects
- Ensure safety protocols are followed on site
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
- Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure quality standards are met
- Qualifications
- Proven experience with hand tools and power tools in groundworks or similar roles
- Ability to operate excavators and other machinery safely
- Mechanical knowledge or electrical experience is a plus but not essential
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques
- Previous experience in drainage or civil groundworks is advantageous
