Programme Overview & Objectives
Kainé Management provides youth work opportunities designed to engage young people aged 10–18 in positive, creative, and skill-building activities. Our Kainé Youth Expansion programme aims to increase access to free, inclusive youth activities, giving young people the support, guidance, and opportunities they need to thrive. This includes establishing Kainé Youth Collective Juniors, a central Girls Can… session, and a weekly youth club.
Activities Include
- Recruiting and supporting young people aged 10–18 to form Kainé Youth Collective Juniors, a peer group that helps guide and shape Kainé’s work with this age group.
- Running an additional weekly youth club to support and empower young people.

Role Overview
The Youth Project Worker will help deliver and coordinate these youth programmes, working closely with participants, partner organisations, and the project team to ensure activities run smoothly and meet their objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of youth projects.
- Engage with young people aged 10–18, ensuring their needs and voices shape activities.
- Liaise with schools, local organisations, and partners to recruit participants.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and administrative documentation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and monitoring information for project stakeholders.
- Coordinate workshops, group sessions (including online via Teams), and events.
- Help young people access opportunities to build skills, meet decision-makers, and share their experiences.
- Support funding activity and help monitor project income and expenditure.
- Support administrative colleagues as needed to keep project operations running smoothly.
- Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, safeguarding, and equality policies.
- Attend meetings, supervision sessions, and training as required.
- Promote projects within the community and help identify opportunities for further work.
- Carry out additional duties as reasonably required by the Project Manager or Board of Directors.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with children, young people, or community groups.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets).
- Understanding of safeguarding, equality, and diversity principles.
- Experience with financial monitoring or budgets is desirable.
- A qualification in youth or community work is welcomed; candidates seeking to build experience in the field are encouraged to apply.
- DBS clearance desirable.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
