About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and professional Self-Employed Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our growing team in Basildon.
This is not a typical high-pressure Amazon-style delivery role. Our routes are well organised with a realistic workload of 40–60 stops per day, allowing drivers to work in a relaxed, supportive, and time-focused environment while maintaining excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Must own or have access to a large delivery van (LWB or equivalent).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable work history.
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.
- Experience driving large vans is highly desirable.
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, CD, IN or TT endorsements).
- Good knowledge of UK road traffic laws.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to load and unload parcels.
- Comfortable using a smartphone, navigation, and delivery apps.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service.
- DBS check may be required.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned multi-drop delivery routes safely and efficiently.
- Deliver parcels accurately and on time.
- Load and unload parcels safely.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
- Keep accurate delivery records using the delivery app.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
- Follow all company procedures and road safety regulations.
